Provided Description:

When it comes to the best builders out there, “Garlington” is always at the top of the list. Since the 1980’s the company has lived by the slogan “Under constant refinement”. Since the earlier days of the 61’s and 44’s Garlington has been the manufacturer most builders try to emulate. Deciding to go with Garlington to build this 49′ Express walkaround was an easy decision for this original owner. Through many years, and multiple other custom boats this owner knew that Garlington could handle the job and meet his decerning taste. After nearly (3) years, “Perfection” was born and has been another example of the quality Garlington produces. This 49′ walk-around is one of the most efficient custom boats on the water today, utilizing the most stout IPS system combined with weight-saving techniques such as a carbon fiber superstructure allowing for a staggering performance of 30+ knots at just 48 gallons an hour! Every detail was thought of and will certainly meet anyone’s expectations. “Perfection” is just that, a truly one-of-a-kind extremely well-maintained Garlington 49 walk-around. Call today to schedule a private showing by appointment only.

Recent Upgrades and UpdatesHolding true to her name “Perfection” has always been maintained to the highest standards since commissioning by her very knowledgeable original owner. Recent services and upgrades include: – Complete topside paint job 2021 – All new Non-Skid on the bow and side decks 2023 – Toe rail stripped and revarnished 2023 – Teak decks sanded and sealed with Triton 7/2023 – All new Odyssey group 31 batteries installed 4/2023 – Full valve adjustment 2023 – Oil and filters changed 1285 hours  – Full ceramic coating  – 1200-hour engine service performed 12/2023 – Liferaft serviced and renewed good through (2/2026)  – Complete detail and wax (1/2024) including engine room detail  Hull ConstructionAll Garlingtons are built using cored composite construction. The advantages of cored hulls and superstructures are well known, but in addition to creating a lighter stiffer package the use of this construction method provides a quiet soft riding hull with great impact resistance. Our hulls are lighter and stiffer, thus allowing for greater performance.  Extra time and money was spent on “Perfection” to build her entire superstructure from Carbon Fiber thus allowing a total weight savings of approximately 1850lbs.  Interior Layout”Perfection” was a well-thought-out pre-conceived design that involved a very methodical design process from a very experienced owner of previous custom-built boats. Using many previous years of experience the current owner went through every detail from exotic woods, to interior layout, to cockpit design to build the perfect platform to accomplish any style of fishing one could imagine. On the interior, the design is subtle but intentional. Building in storage and amenities in a walk-around is considered a challenge but that was overcome with the final results of this design. As you enter the cabin through a bi-fold door you are immediately immersed by a beautiful satin finish custom exotic book-matched interior. Along the port side you will find the custom-built rod locker followed by an elongated galley with plenty of storage and drawer-style refrigeration below.
