Provided Description:

* Preferred custom salon and utility room arrangement* I am proud to present to you this stunning example of a Sabre 48 Salon Express. This vessel was built by and for an experienced and knowledgeable yachtsman. This being his third Sabre, he knew exactly what worked and what didn’t. He chose a salon and utility room arrangement that is perfect for the cruising couple that likes to entertain guest. Beyond that, he also spared no expense on options. As you approach this beautiful, low hour 2022 Sabre 48 Salon Express you will be in awe of the striking shark grey hull, accented with gold striping. It really stands out in a sea of similar styled vessels with Flag Blue and White hulls. From the time you first lay eyes upon the vessel and all through your tour, you will see that the condition is as new. Sea Fever has been loved and very well cared for. She has been stored in an air-conditioned barn during the hot summer months since new, and detailed on a regular basis as she launches. I believe it would be nearly impossible to distinguish Sea Fever from a new model. Boarding is easy, either by stepping over the gunnels and down two steps to the teak laid cockpit, or by the large swim platform, then through the port-side transom door. Once in the cockpit you will find forward and aft facing seating with storage below each one. In front of the L-shaped transom seat, you will be pleased to find a larger than standard folding teak table that is perfect for alfresco dining either under the stars, or with cover overhead provided by the Sure-shade electrically actuated sun-shade. A trip to the bow is easy thanks to the wide side-decks and high sturdy bow-rails. The next feature sure to impress will be found as you walk through the beautiful and sturdy stainless-steel door and view the custom salon layout. The starboard side L-shaped dinette has been reversed from the standard arrangement, where guest sitting in the short leg of the lounge would be looking at the back of the captain’s chair. The guest sitting in the shorter leg will face aft with a view of the water vs the back of the chairs. There is a full-length sofa to port that is large enough for three adults to comfortably sit and chat or watch the custom fit and upgraded 40 inch Smart TV that is appropriately positioned directly across the salon behind the custom fit dinette seating. This TV is on an electrically actuated stand that cleverly lowers and disappears behind the dinette. There are two custom built ottomans with storage inside. You can kick back with your feet up to watch TV or use them for extra seating around the dinette. These can be stored below deck in the utility-storage area when not in use.  Speaking of the utility-storage area. Entering this area has been made far easier than the standard entry. You simply push a button to open the large floor hatch in the middle of the salon. Then safely walk down the stainless-steel steps. One will be pleased to find a separate washer and dryer to the starboard side, storage shelves forward, and plenty of remaining storage to port. If you have long range cruising plans you may consider installing a freezer and/or a water-maker in this area. There is enough room for both and still plenty of room left for spare parts and gear.  You may find yourself asking why they don’t build all 48’s this way… The helm station boasts a complete Garmin electronics package with two large glass displays that are sure to satisfy all of your navigation needs. There are two leather Stidd helm seats with footrest. The captain’s chair is equipped with the Volvo IPS docking joystick integrated into the armrest. Adjacent to the helm is a pilothouse door leading to the starboard side deck. This feature makes single handing of the vessel a snap. When you venture forward and down the stairs you will enter a fully equipped and spacious galley to port. To starboard’ one enters the midship master stateroom through the beautiful Shoji doors. The master has a private entrance into an ensuite head with shower. Moving forward towards the bow is the VIP stateroom and guest head with shower. If you want a Sabre 48 Salon Express that is as good as new and has what I believe to be the best possible layout, Sea Fever is the perfect yacht for you. Cheers!
