Our Thoughts

The 2020 Hargrave C92 represents a thoughtfully engineered motor yacht built for serious cruising and entertaining in one of the industry's most respected semi-custom platforms. At 91.83 feet with a 23.25-foot beam, this vessel delivers the interior volume and stability expected of a true offshore cruiser, powered by twin MTU 10V2000M96 engines rated at 1,600 horsepower each. With a 5,000-gallon fuel capacity and 12-knot cruising speed, she's configured for extended range and comfortable passage-making across blue water, while 18-knot maximum speed provides meaningful performance when conditions permit.

Layout and Living Spaces

The C92's accommodations are organized across three functional decks with genuine separation between owner, guest, and crew spaces—a hallmark of thoughtful yacht design. The on-deck full-beam master stateroom occupies prime real estate with a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and private seating area. The en-suite features dual vanities, a large shower, and a power retractable shade system that provides complete darkness or full views through substantial port and starboard windows. Below deck, two queen VIP staterooms and one twin guest stateroom each offer en-suite heads and shower facilities. A dedicated 700-square-foot gym and walk-in pantry with washer/dryer setup occupy the lower deck, while crew quarters feature separate sleeping berths, independent head and shower, mess galley, and communal space—allowing professional crew to operate efficiently without intrusion on guest areas.

Outdoor Deck Program

The yacht's outdoor spaces are designed for both relaxation and formal entertaining. The foredeck features a private lounge with shaded Portuguese bridge seating and integrated sunbathing cushions. The upper deck offers expansive sun pads, a substantial grill and refrigeration setup, a U-shaped lounge forward of the pilothouse, and an aft bar with wine cooler and ice maker. The covered aft deck provides a formal dining table with plush seating, sheltered from weather while maintaining open-air ambiance. The beach club—accessed via hydraulic door from the swim platform—functions as a day lounge with a full bar, half head, and u-shaped settee that converts to additional crew berth at night. The hydraulic swim platform lowers to water level and accommodates a tender up to 2,000 pounds, with an integrated shower for rinsing after water activities.

Pilothouse and Navigation

The enclosed pilothouse features three Stidd helm chairs, a custom owner's desk, and a dedicated private head. A high-low retractable high-definition television and comfortable sofa lounge create a secondary day space. The helm station integrates five Garmin 24-inch multifunction displays, a Furuno 72-inch 12kW open array radar with 72-nautical-mile range, Garmin autopilot, dual Garmin VHF systems, quad Garmin AIS receivers, Garmin fish finder with CHIRP transducer, and Garmin wind/speed/depth/temperature transducers. Two FLIR thermal imaging systems, two EPIRBs, and twelve-man life rafts address safety infrastructure. The interior skylounge provides a secondary helm station with identical Garmin electronics, a custom two-level bar, wine cooler, refrigeration, and L-shaped seating with table.

2020 Hargrave C92 Motor Yacht for Sale – Fort Lauderdale
Overview
The 2020 Hargrave C92 represents a pinnacle of modern motor yacht design and construction, offering a compelling blend of performance, comfort, and versatility that appeals to both private owners and high-end charter operators. At 91.83 feet in length with a 23.25-foot beam, this full-displacement vessel is engineered for extended cruising throughout the Bahamas , Caribbean , and beyond while maintaining the operational efficiency and seaworthiness expected of a Hargrave-built yacht. Powered by twin MTU 10V2000M96 engines delivering 1,600 horsepower each, the C92 achieves a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots, making her equally capable for leisurely exploration and purposeful transits. With a 5,000-gallon fuel capacity and 700-gallon freshwater capacity, the yacht is configured for extended offshore passages and week-long cruising itineraries without frequent refueling or water generation. Launched in 2020 and maintained in excellent condition, Day One has been the subject of comprehensive recent servicing, including full MTU major engine services, new battery installations (17 units), and complete generator service in 2026. The vessel's four-stateroom layout, on-deck full-beam master suite, enclosed sky lounge, and dedicated beach club package create a sophisticated living environment that transcends typical motor yacht offerings in her class. This configuration supports both owner-operator use and charter deployment, with dedicated crew quarters, gym, and flexible entertainment spaces that accommodate extended guest stays and professional crew operations simultaneously.
Layout and Deck Design
The C92's layout philosophy prioritizes outdoor entertaining, water access, and interior flexibility—three pillars that define modern luxury yacht cruising. The vessel's design flows naturally from aft to forward, with distinct functional zones that serve different purposes throughout the day and across varying cruising scenarios. Aft Deck and Beach Club The experience begins at the hydraulic swim platform, a full-beam feature that serves dual purposes as both a water-access point for tender launching and water sports and as the primary boarding gateway. The platform is rated to accommodate up to 2,000 pounds, making it suitable for launching inflatables, jet skis, or other water toys. A built-in shower with hot and cold water provides immediate rinse-off capability, while an extractable swim ladder ensures safe water entry and exit. The beach club, directly forward of the swim platform, represents a thoughtful addition to the outdoor entertainment envelope. This semi-enclosed space features a half bath on the port side, a fully equipped stand-up bar with stainless steel stools, sink, refrigeration, and cooktop, and a u-shaped lounge with seating for casual gatherings. The entire aft panel can be hydraulically lifted or opened via a center access door, creating seamless flow between the beach club and crew areas. At night, the beach club's settee converts to an additional berth, allowing flexible accommodation for crew rotation or overflow guest sleeping. Forward of the beach club, the teak aft deck provides sheltered outdoor dining and lounging. A large dining table surrounded by plush seating creates an al fresco entertaining zone that remains protected by the upper deck overhead structure. This area serves as the social hub for daytime entertaining, sunset gatherings, and casual meals while maintaining sightlines to the water and surrounding environment. Upper Deck and Sky Lounge Three distinct stairways provide access to the upper deck and sky lounge—port and starboard side deck stairs, an internal staircase from the galley area, and a direct staircase from the aft deck. This redundancy ensures efficient traffic flow during entertaining and simplifies crew movement during normal operations. The sky lounge functions as a sophisticated secondary salon, featuring an L-shaped seating arrangement with integrated tables, a custom two-level bar with sink, refrigeration, and wine cooler, and a sliding door opening to the upper deck. A retractable ladder beneath a hardtop hatch provides access to the boat deck for maintenance and observation. The sky lounge's flexibility allows it to serve as a private owner's retreat, a secondary guest lounge, or an extended entertaining space during large gatherings. The upper deck itself is configured as a comprehensive outdoor entertaining platform. A large u-shaped lounge forward of the helm station with cocktail tables and a comfortable sun pad creates a premier sunbathing and relaxation zone. A secondary seating area aft of the pilothouse provides additional gathering space, while a stand-up bar with sink, wine cooler, ice maker, and storage supports extended entertaining. A 30-inch Fire Magic barbecue grill with custom cabinetry and adjacent refrigeration completes the upper deck's culinary offerings, allowing the yacht to function as a floating entertaining venue. Foredeck The foredeck features a Portuguese bridge design with sofa seats and lounge tables, creating a private owner's retreat forward of the helm station. Sunbathing cushions with integrated drink holders invite relaxation and provide excellent sightlines forward. Maxwell VWC3500 vertical hydraulic anchor winches (paired) with local foot switches, remote controls, and chain counters manage the dual 285-foot high-tensile half-inch anchor chain systems, each terminating in 100-kilogram stainless steel anchors. This configuration ensures reliable anchoring capability across varying bottom conditions and sea states encountered in Caribbean cruising.
Helm and Electronics
The pilothouse represents a command center designed for both operational efficiency and owner comfort. Three Stidd pilot chairs with manual adjustment allow the captain and guests to occupy the helm station, while an integrated instrument panel with wood and leather finishes maintains aesthetic consistency with the yacht's contemporary interior design. A custom owner's desk forward on the port side provides workspace for administrative tasks, passage planning, or casual office work during extended cruising. Navigation and Radar Systems The C92 is equipped with a comprehensive Garmin-based navigation suite that represents modern maritime electronics integration. A custom-designed five-screen display configuration includes five 24-inch Garmin multifunction displays, plus an additional 22-inch Garmin 8622 MFD screen and a fifth screen dedicated to ship service monitoring. This redundancy ensures that critical navigation data remains visible even if a single display fails, while the multi-screen approach allows simultaneous viewing of chart data, radar imagery, sonar information, and engine monitoring. The primary radar system comprises a Furuno 72-inch 12-kilowatt open-array system with 72-nautical-mile range capability, providing exceptional target definition and weather detection for offshore operations. Garmin GPS positioning, autopilot, wind/speed/depth/temperature transducers, dual VHF radios, and quad AIS receivers complete the navigation package. A Garmin fish finder with CHIRP transducer provides bottom imaging and fish detection capability, though this yacht is configured primarily for cruising rather than fishing operations. Communication and Safety Systems Dual EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) units ensure that distress signals can be transmitted even if primary systems fail. A Pepwave 5G WiFi system with integrated booster and wireless routers throughout the vessel maintains internet connectivity while cruising, supporting both operational requirements and guest connectivity. Twelve-man life rafts provide emergency evacuation capacity for all persons aboard. Surveillance and Monitoring Pan-tilt-zoom surveillance cameras positioned at the aft deck and engine room feed to the monitoring system, allowing the captain to observe activity remotely. This capability proves invaluable during anchoring, tender operations, and crew management. Engine room monitoring systems track bilge pumps, blowers, navigation lights, and other critical systems, alerting the operator to anomalies before they develop into operational issues.
Interior Accommodations and Living Spaces
The C92's interior design philosophy emphasizes natural light, contemporary finishes, and functional luxury. The main deck salon serves as the social and entertainment hub, with an open-plan layout that seamlessly integrates the dining area, galley, and lounge spaces. Salon and Dining The salon features an elegant open-plan living space adorned with rich woodwork, plush furnishings, and expansive windows that flood the interior with natural light. A state-of-the-art entertainment system centered around a large flat-screen television and premium Bose lifestyle home entertainment system with separate Blu-Ray disc player and Apple TV supports both casual viewing and sophisticated entertainment. The integrated dining area accommodates six to eight guests at a stylish dining table, creating a formal entertaining space that flows naturally from the salon. Galley The galley is designed with flexibility in mind—it can open to the salon for casual entertaining or close for more formal service. Equipment includes a large double-door refrigerator, additional refrigeration drawers, a full pantry, and a dishwas

What are the engine specifications and cruising capabilities of the 2020 Hargrave C92?
The 2020 Hargrave C92 is powered by twin MTU 10V2000M96 engines rated at 1600 horsepower each. This engine package delivers a maximum speed of 18 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots. The engines are supported by a 5000-gallon fuel capacity, which provides extended range for Caribbean and Bahamas cruising. The MTU powerplant is known for reliability and fuel efficiency in this displacement-hull class, making it well-suited for owners seeking both performance and range on extended voyages.
What stabilization and thruster systems does the C92 include?
The C92 is equipped with a NAIAD zero-speed stabilizer, which significantly reduces rolling motion even when the yacht is stationary or moving slowly—a critical feature for comfort during extended anchoring or idle periods in challenging sea conditions. For precise maneuvering, the yacht features NAIAD hydraulic bow and stern thrusters; the bow thruster is rated at 45 horsepower and the stern thruster at 65 horsepower. This combination allows confident docking and station-keeping without excessive use of the main engines, reducing fuel consumption and wear during close-quarters operations.
How is the master stateroom configured, and what makes it distinctive?
The master stateroom is positioned on-deck as a full-beam suite, providing maximum width and light. It features a king-sized bed, spacious walk-in closet, and private seating area. The en-suite bathroom includes double vanities, a large shower, and premium fixtures. A custom retractable power shade system covers the expansive port and starboard windows, offering both complete darkness for rest and unobstructed water views when open. This on-deck placement and full-beam width distinguish it from lower-deck guest accommodations and create a private owner's retreat separate from guest circulation.
What guest stateroom accommodations are available below deck?
The lower deck includes four additional staterooms beyond the master suite. Two VIP staterooms each feature queen-sized beds with en-suite bathrooms and tastefully designed interiors. A third guest stateroom offers twin beds with its own head and shower. All three guest staterooms are designed to provide the same level of comfort and finish as the owner's suite. This four-stateroom layout below deck, combined with the on-deck master, allows the C92 to accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably, making it suitable for both private ownership and high-end charter operations.
What is included in the beach club, and how does it function as part of the yacht's layout?
The beach club is positioned at the aft end of the yacht and serves as a dedicated water-access and entertainment zone. It features a fully equipped stand-up bar with stainless steel stools, sink, wine cooler, and ice maker; a u-shaped lounge with convertible seating that can serve as an additional berth; and a half bath on the port side. The hydraulic swim platform lowers into the water for easy tender launch and water access. The beach club can function as a crew lounge at night or integrate with crew quarters, and it provides direct access to the water toys and tender operations. This multipurpose design maximizes the utility of the aft section for both guests and crew.
What electronics and navigation systems are installed on the C92?
The C92 features a comprehensive Garmin-based navigation suite centered on a custom five-screen display. Primary systems include a Furuno 72-inch 12-kilowatt 72-nautical-mile open-array radar, five Garmin 24-inch multifunction displays, and a Garmin GPS/autopilot system integrated with Garmin fish finder and CHIRP transducers. Additional navigation tools include dual Garmin VHF radios, four Garmin AIS receivers, Garmin wind/speed/depth/temperature transducers, and two FLIR thermal imaging cameras. Two EPIRB units provide emergency communication. This redundant, modern electronics package supports confident navigation and operation in all conditions and supports both cruising and fishing applications.
How is the pilothouse configured, and what secondary spaces does it include?
The pilothouse serves as the command center and includes the helm station with three Stidd pilot chairs, a large U-shaped lounge on the starboard side, and a private head on the port side. Forward of the helm is a custom owner's desk, providing workspace for administrative tasks or chart work during extended cruising. A high-low retractable high-definition television offers entertainment or weather monitoring. The pilothouse connects to the upper deck via a sliding door and interior stairs, and it provides 360-degree visibility through frameless windows. This layout creates a comfortable, functional command space that doubles as a secondary lounge and office, ideal for owners who spend extended time aboard managing operations or enjoying the cruising experience.
What outdoor entertaining spaces are available on the upper deck and aft deck?
The upper deck features a large U-shaped lounge forward of the helm with cocktail tables, a comfortable sun pad area, and a second outdoor seating area aft of the pilothouse. A standup bar with stainless steel stools, sink, wine cooler, and ice maker serves this area. The upper deck also includes a full 30-inch Fire Magic barbecue in a custom cabinet and refrigeration on the port side aft. The aft deck below features a large teak dining table surrounded by plush seating, sheltered by the overhead deck structure, ideal for al fresco dining. Together, these spaces provide multiple entertaining venues from casual cocktails to formal dinners, supporting both private ownership and charter entertaining.
What crew accommodations and facilities are provided?
The C92 includes dedicated crew quarters accessed from either the external aft deck or the beach club, ensuring crew privacy while maintaining proximity to guest and yacht operations. The crew area features two separate sleeping spaces—one full bunk and one twin bunk—a dedicated head and shower separate from guest facilities, a communal mess area, and a small galley. This layout allows crew to rest and prepare meals independently while remaining responsive to owner and guest needs. The separation of crew spaces from guest areas is a hallmark of well-designed larger yachts and supports efficient yacht management during extended cruising or charter operations.
What power generation and electrical systems support the yacht's operations?
The C92 is equipped with twin Northern Lights 38-kilowatt generators (60 Hz) with sound shields, providing redundant electrical power for all ship's systems. The electrical infrastructure includes 255-amp-hour AGM start batteries for engines and generators, 210-amp-hour AGM batteries for 24-volt DC ship's service, and 210-amp-hour emergency batteries above the main deck with independent charging. Four Glendinning 100-amp shore power connections with 125-foot cables (two forward, two aft) support dockside connection. The system includes dual combined inverter-chargers, dual battery chargers, and 100-amp ISO boost transformers configured as polarization transformers. This redundant, modern electrical architecture supports continuous operation of all systems, including air conditioning, watermaker, and entertainment equipment, during extended cruising or anchoring.
What interior finishes and comfort systems define the salon and main living spaces?
The main salon features an open-plan design with elegant furniture, rich woodwork, and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light. A state-of-the-art entertainment system includes a 55-inch LED television with Bose lifestyle home entertainment, separate Blu-Ray disc player, and Apple TV. The seamlessly integrated dining area seats 6 to 8 guests at a stylish table. The galley can open to the salon for casual entertaining or close for formal service, and it includes a large double-door refrigerator, additional refrigeration drawers, full pantry, and dishwasher. Climate control is provided by a Cruise Air chilled-water air conditioning system with makeup air and handlers throughout. Indirect LED lighting with dimmer controls in the salon, staterooms, and sky lounge creates ambient atmosphere. This combination of natural light, modern finishes, integrated entertainment, and climate control creates a sophisticated, comfortable living environment suitable for extended cruising or entertaining.
